STEPHANIE DELLACOSTA
[ROMANCE/COMEDY FEATURE]
Could a loser have a "second" chance with one of Hollywood's hottest stars?

Thirty-seven year old psychotherapist Dr. Ian Pandourian is a loser. Single, neurotic, cantankerous, unfulfilled and mildly depressed, he lives an unremarkable life with his lesbian roommate Kate McKellan, in a grotty flat in South London spending his evenings munching pizza, lamenting the throes of his career and the non-existence of his love life. A cross between Sigmund Freud and Kermit the Frog, he cannot even pair with his Bluetooth speaker. One evening, as the two watch the Oscars ceremony, he recognises one of the Best Actress nominees as none other than Stephanie Dellacosta, a former classmate whom he took on an ill-fated date to the cinema almost twenty years ago. He has not seen her since.

With Kate reluctant to believe that one of cinema's hottest stars would ever have considered a romantic liaison with him, Ian resolves to track her down, secretly hoping that he will increase his flagging self-esteem. What he does not know, is that Stephanie herself is depressed, unfulfilled, neurotic and desperately seeking a partner who values her for who she is, rather than for what they see on-screen. When Stephanie takes on a leading role in a theatre production in London, Ian and Kate seize their chance and execute a complicated plan to bring her back into his life, with awkward and hilarious results.
